Agapi Sbokou is owner and co-CEO of Sbokos Hotel Group, a leading, privately-owned company with 6 resorts in Crete and in Rhodes. Agapi has an extensive experience in the industry for more than 15 years. In her previous capacity as Director of Sales and Marketing for SHG, she has also been in charge of product development and strategic positioning for all of the group’s resorts with a special focus on its multi awarded flagship property, the Blue Palace, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa. Her experience covers a differentiated portfolio from 4-star to high-end luxury; and from all-inclusive operations to timesharing, managed and franchise affiliated properties.

Since 2011 she is member of the board of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE); a member of the board of Marketing Greece; a board member of the EAME Resort Advisory Group of Starwood Hotels & Resorts between 2004-2009 and of recently of the Marriot Business Council in Greece.

Before joining SHG in 2001, Agapi was employed by the National Bank for Industrial Development (ETEBA), the investment arm of the National Bank of Greece and the Dryllerakis and Associates law firm of in Athens.

She holds an M.B.A from Cass Business School of City University; a B.A. in Law from the University of Athens; and speaks English, German, Italian and Greek.
