Andreas Birner is the founder and CEO of Inova Hospitality Management. He has more than 25 years of experience in a number of sectors of the tourism industry.

After starting off as a product and contracts manager with a tour operator in Germany, he later joined Sani Resort as the Director of Sales & Marketing in 1995. In 1999 he co-founded a company called x-bookings. This company provided the software for Medhotels.com, known as one of the most successful e-commerce startups in travel in the UK. It was later taken over by Lastminute.com. He joined Medhotels.com in 2003 in order to build the distribution in the German market.

In 2005 he returned to Sani Resort as General Manager Sales & Marketing. In parallel to the management role at Sani Resort he co-founded Bluedot.com, a destination management company that was created in order to build the foundations for the expansion of Expedia in Greece. In 2006 he introduced the dynamic packaging model for resort hotels in cooperation with the Vertical group (YHI) in the UK. It allowed resort hotels to compete successfully with tour operators in the UK market at all levels of distribution and created a level playing field. He left Sani Resort in 2011 and started Inova Hospitality Management.

Inova Hospitality Management is currently managing the Sales & Marketing operations of twenty luxury hotels in Greece and Spain. Inova Hospitality Management plays a key role in the development of luxury resorts that are recognized as market leaders.
