Anna Gauthier – Chatzichristou was born and raised in Athens and has a double Greek/French nationality.

She holds an MBA in Tourism Management and over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Anna started her career with Club Méditerranée in operations in Greece, Israel and France and moved later to business development. She then worked for InterContinental in Athens, where she was the Director of Corporate sales. In 2016 she moved to South Africa as part of a family expatriation project, where she held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for Hyatt hotel in Johannesburg. Later, she became the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Minor Hotels, driving the commercial strategy for 3 Anantara and 7 AVANI properties throughout Sub Sahara African countries.

Anna returned to France in 2022, currently leading the Global Sales for Hyatt’s luxury, leisure and lifestyle brands in French-speaking countries, based in Paris and representing a portfolio of 1000 + hotels. She is passionate about luxury hospitality and her leadership moto is to empower people so that they can be and give their best!

She is married and mother of two teens.
