Based in the company’s Milan office, Roberta Possenti is Vice President Europe for Preferred Hotels & Resorts, responsible for developing greater awareness of the company among independent hotel owners and operators, creating partnerships with luxury properties in Italy, the Iberian Peninsula and other Southern European countries, including Greece, Croatia and Malta.

In addition to managing an impressive portfolio of nearly 90 world-renowned member hotels and resorts in the region, Roberta plays an integral role in the company’s development of collaborations with independently-owned hotel collections and small groups.

Prior to joining Preferred Hotels & Resorts in 2002, Roberta spent 10 years specializing in hospitality sales, specifically managing corporate, leisure, and group sales efforts for Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Roberta is originally from Milan, Italy and speaks fluent Italian, French, Spanish and English.

Roberta is also Board Member of HSMAI Europe.
