Anne Daviaud has since many years been sensitive to the role and benefits tourism can have towards its environment. In 2007, her master thesis was about “tour operator’s strategy for sustainable tourism development”. She had then the opportunity to work for an upscale French Tour operator with various positions like Yield Manager and Beachstays Production Director. While working with many hotels across the world, it made her see the needs and challenges of implementing a sustainable development policy and has chosen to act by becoming a Green Globe auditor and founded Blue Pineapple Tourism.
Blue Pineapple Tourism’s core value is to promote good practices for a positive impact of tourism. It provides sales and marketing development on the French speaking markets with a focus on sustainable tourism through participation with hoteliers in the implementation of sustainable initiatives and to make customers aware of these actions.
