A self-made Food Waste solution designer is how to best describe Benjamin, who started his career in sustainability in 2008 with Accor as a Green Globe certification manager for 45 Asian Novotel. He founded LightBlue Environmental Consulting in 2012, with the vision to reconcile business excellence and sustainability, and now consulting predominantly on food waste prevention across Asia and Europe for Hotel groups (Marriott, Accor, IHG..), restaurants as well as International Organizations (Michelin Guide Thailand...) and government agencies.
He is an international speaker (45 conferences in 11 countries), judge for awards on sustainability, guest-lecturer in Business (Harvard, Bonn, ESCP Europe) and Culinary Schools (Institut Paul Bocuse) and a certified trainer for the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. With a consortium of academics and experts, he co-developed The PLEDGE on Food Waste, the most comprehensive certification and Benchmarking system on the topic endorsed by the International Food Waste Coalition (IFWC).
